Purchasing Agent

If so, we would like to talk to you. We are adding an Purchasing Agent to our Supply Chain team in Springfield, MO. We are looking for someone who is eager to be a part of a team that is constantly working with both internal and external customers along with company vendors and partners. This role will play a vital part of integrating our new computer systems into daily practice.

What we are looking for:

• Strong computer skills required
• Excellent written & verbal communication is a must
• Experience in writing work orders
• Experience reading Bill of Materials
• Previous experience working with a MRP/ERP, including the ability to read costing reports
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing warehouse

What will you be doing here:

• Read reports based on blueprints and create work orders for productions teams
• Use material reporting to communicate with the Supply Chain Manager with emerging trends
• Run stock reports and provide recommendations on levels as required
• Assist the Supply Chain Manager in special projects as they arise
• Work alongside the warehouse team with various tasks including, but not limited to: stock levels, inventory & cycle counts, & identifying material trends
