Press Brake Operator

Are you a dedicated individual with experience in working with press brake equipment to form sheet metal products? Do you have experience in setting up and operating CNC Press Brake for the purpose of bending, shaping, or forming material? If you answered yes to any of these, we'd like to talk to you. We're looking to add a Press Brake Operator to our team in Springfield, MO. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with the confidence to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products. We are looking for someone that can join the team with a strong background and maybe even the ability to teach their skills to current and new team members.

What are we looking for?

• Experience running Press Brake machines, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
• The ability to see details and imagine how the product will look when completed
• The foresight to see where the metal should be cut and formed for excellent quality in finished product
• The ability to use basic mathematics to complete assigned tasks
• The ability to run and operate the equipment as well as the ability to join the team and be able to teach skills out.

What will you be doing here?

• Work from shop drawings to produce Quality conforming parts from stainless steel on a CNC Press Brake
• Determining project requirements, such as score, assembly sequences, or required methods/materials using blueprints, drawings, or written/verbal instructions
• Work with the Layout team to ensure strong communication between the department and work together to complete quality parts and efficient work experiences.
• Working a standard schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 am -4:30 pm. Overtime opportunities have been frequent over the past year.

This position may start at $18.00/hour DOE. If experience and skills are strong, this starting wage will go up to match.
